02 - Shadow Check
  • 02 - Shadow Check

The term ‘Gun Club’ traces its roots back to the anglophilia of the 1870s when the American Gun Club adopted its distinctive houndstooth check pattern.

This is a contemporary tweed that sheds its agricultural bulk to become light and airy, with a soft, textural hand. Shetland wool is unique in its combination of fine and rustic fibres, both long and short. The Scottish Shetland wool is carefully sorted and finished after weaving to make it soft against the skin without losing the rusticity of the robust, all-weather original. The cloth is surprisingly warm yet lightweight and resilient, making it an ideal travel coat, especially for the spring and autumn months.
